Indian Television Serials

Helloooo guys..
Now tell me who are adamant fans of Indian television serials..They are running so successfully that means count is endless..
Does anyone remember or seen serials such as Ramayan or Mahabharat.. I think in order to see grandeur these 2 serials were the only options..Rest all serials like Hamlog, Udaan were so simply decorated I would say.. that we can feel all characters from our next door home..
But Thanks to Ekta Kapoor.. She brang a huge revolution in Indian  Television Serial.. I would say not only Indian Televisions  but root to tip living style of Indian people..It gave a big churn to Fashion Industry.. It also gave roji roti (in huge numbers) to Interior designers Infact complete Indian economy is changed by Indian Television serials..
Earlier housewives or even working woman in India were simple ladies considering lipsticks and kajals as there big make up assets.. Please see dressing sense and makeup of our actresses in 1980's and tremendous
makeup style in late 1990's.

What a boom in textile and cosmetics market..and and how can we forget cosmetic surgeons?
Now the time has come when TV stars are given equal importance as Film stars..20 yrs back Shahrukh Khan was the only actor considered as , success, who became film star after leaving TV. Today we can compare fan following of Ram Kapoor or Sakshi Tanwar with any Bollywood star..Not to forget Ram Kapoor is my personal favourite too.. I hate the scenes when he suffers because of second wife Ayesha..
Second wife..tadddaaaaa!!! ting ting ting ting.. A revolutionary change in family lives of middle class to upper class social system..
Iski biwi uski biwi, teri biwi, meri biwi, sab ek baat hai..we sometimes still have fun that now culture is like
these kids are from my first husband .. these kids are from my recent husband's past wife and these kids belong to two of us..Recent husband wife..
One more thing that makes me wonder is the heavy sarees that Tv heroines wear..To my surprise they don't wear night dress too.. Their only staple attire is a heavy work saree anytime, anyday..
But again one more Thanks..Because all these saree purchase is being done from my city - Surat and again giving a big boom to our textile industry..I feel so proud whenever I move around in other cities and sareewala insist me to take saree by saying "Bahenji le jaiye, koi aisi waisi saree nahi hai, ye to surat ki saree hai" and I happily say yes! I am from Surat and it's our family business..
and yes it has heavily effected saas bahu relationship, the innocence of ladies.. When I got married, I was highyl surprised to see my mother in law sticking in front of tv to see modern daav pechs of saas bahu..
She literally implemented all her tuchkas to save her hard earned boy from her daughter in law's woo..

One more thing coming to me as a bang bang is mother in laws in serials like Sathiyaa and Diya aur Baati Hum give punishments to their Daughter in laws.. Where are woman activists? Do you think there should be any scope of such traces in national media? There is nothing like will of  a woman.. Many Many unrealistic points such as Sandhya studying at night college than coming home and preparations for her studies and again from the morning working really hard to impress her Mother in law..Where is human body clock? human stamina or do they have some special formula..?
Please Please suggest me, if anyone can help me with this.. I will try it for anti ageing formula..
So finally there are pros and cons of Indian Television
Pros:

  1. Given good dressing to indian females
  2. good make up art
  3. only place where husband is bechara..They don't have any work in their offices then solving home problems
  4. Great grandeur in each and every corner of frame.
  5. and many more
Cons:
  1. Indian female loosing there innocence
  2. saas bahu issues..
  3. teri biwi meri biwi shhhhhh!!
  4.  and many more..

My travel fascination- Madhya Pradesh

Helloooo All,
Though I was pretty  sure that my next post will be on Indian television serials..Somehow my heart is beating for travel travel and travel plans..
After 2 yrs of long non travelling break. Finally we decided to plan a tour for diwali vacation.. It was nothing but a big failed plan.. We decided to move on to varanasi catch a cab to Nepal border.. After reaching there decide some hotel but after few days me and my lovely cousins felt that our plan is no plan at all..
Again I was afraid of cold there..Being a typical gujju.. I never wanted my travel plan to get chilled and baked in hotel rooms..
I love getting ready.. moving out in serene nature..
I loooove traveling..shopping while travelling.. enjoying nature, meeting and interacting with new people and an eternal peace and calmness..Just with your loved ones..Apart from all hustle bustle of city life.. In spite of  my such deep love for traveling hubby dear decided to skip travels for few years for sake of health of our kiddoo..
And one fine day my great god answered my prayer and an advertisement of Madhya Pradesh tourism on local channel on television popped up which took away my mind..Immediately I took the contact number and office address..
Very next day I made a rush to MP tourism office in surat, which is located at Jilla Seva Sadan of Gujarat government office.. On reaching there I found offices of gujarat tourism and MP tourism are located in same big hall.. Once again my mind started swinging between kutch, ranotsav dwarka beach or somnath or some other state..Oh!!! I simply love my state and our CM Mr. Narendra Modi..US people and rest all people excuse me I can't change my humble views for Modiji..I have travelled gujarat so frequently and so many times but still my thirst is not getting quenched.. I want to visit ambaji, somnath, dwarka, diu girnar, dakor again and again..
Oh I am moving ahead of my actual topic "My travel fantasy - Madhya Pradesh".

Official at MP tourism office Mr. Dhaval Patel welcomed us warmly..We questioned, questioned and questioned and finally were confused what to select of so many places in MP.. Mr. Patel gave us suggestion for Panchmarhi, Bandhavgarh and Bhedaghat..Now Panchmarhi is a hill station, bandhavgarh a place for jungle safari and Bhedaghat- marble rocks.. Me and Mr. husband looked at eachother and said we wanna skip Panchmarhi, as we thought it will be just like all other hill stations..sunset point, sunrise point, echo point and one waterfall..But Mr. Patel gave us all lucrative suggestions for not skipping Panchmarhi..of which the most lucrative was we will loose 5-6kgs of weight if we visit Panchmarhi for 4 days and it's his garuntee..
Hey don't think that we are chubby bubbly fellows..
and ya he was very very true..You will see details about panchmarhi in my upcoming posts
Then came the issue of package tour but MP tourism guy said that they don't plan complete package but they provide hotel bookings and tiger safari booking.,, and ya cabs for picking you up from stations and roaming around the place..
So once again question came which place to reach first which last..
if you see map of MP you will come to know that its like a triangular travelling region..Mr. Patel suggested us to reach pipariya first, go to Panchmarhi from there ..then reach Jabalpur and take a cab to bhedaghat and lastly Umaria and cab to Bandhavgarh..But I had something else in mind so we booked our tickets from IRCTC to Pipariya then booked a cab from Pipariya to Panchmarhi through MP tourism..4 days hotel booking at Panchvati hotels
nice cottage na..
then took a direct train to umaria from there MP tourism cab came to pick us up..( ya.. definitely a separate charge was taken for pick up from station) and dropped us at Bandhavgarh..

After 2 days of most memorable stay at White Tiger Forest lodge we proceed for Jabalpur Through
Innova car from private tourist booking office. www.tigersafari.com

And finally we reached Bhedaghat at Marble rocks Motels
This is the view from the motel ..
and we returned to our great, beloved, fastest growing city in Asia - My Surat via baroda through Somnath express and shifting to double decker newly introduced train..
Detailed tour description will be in my next blog with my personal camera pics.. Thank you ciao...

Save the girl child

Save girl child... or save girls..save females..
I wonder, today, being women's day, all newspapers, social networking sites, media, everywhere Happy Women's Day messages are flooding as if some fish market fishes.. Why only 8th of march is selected to show gratitude to a woman.. Why people forget that existence of there own being is through a female. It's a woman who gave them immense love in form of mother, wife, sister or beloved. It shakes me off when I listen about rape case that too on a girl of age 2.6 yrs.. Aren't people with such mind sets ashamed of themselves. Even old aged ladies are not safe.

Rape is not the only case where women are deprived of there rights..right from the day a girl is born, she is destined to fight, fight and fight..
  1. On very first instance she has to fight for her own birth..
  2. If there is another male child in family she has to fight for her existence, wishes, educational, food entertainment needs with her brother as Indian family mentality is a boy child will serve there old age whereas there is no return in investing in a girl.
  3. If she achieves job she has to fight against male associates and ugly typical male mentality..
  4. If she becomes boss, then life becomes like a roller coaster ride, apart from work she is supposed to spend majority of her energy against male chauvinist environment.
  5. Life after marriage..Oh what a big dearth..Traditional Indian familes.. so called modern Indian families..There are huge lists of reponsibilities for the girl who is coming to there house..At some places "a bahu" is not suppose to have her free will or free life.. My upcoming blog is treatment with daughter in laws in Indian television serials..
  6. She suppose to take care of her in laws, her kids, her husband and if required work or do job too.
  7. Again her salary is considered income of complete family or at some places she has to hand it over to mother in law or husband completely
  8. Earlier I was thinking that let the ratio of boy to girl get decreased then people will understand importance of a girl..( just like the quote " jo chiz apne pass nahi hoti uski insaan ko jyada chaahat hoti hai").. but I was so wrong again it is leading to more exploitation of women in states like Haryana, Rajasthan..
  9. Here a female is treated as a slave..They are exploited by all male members of family (may be in some communities, cant say about entire system). They have started purchasing young girls or mid aged ladies from other states and purchase is done by one person and rest other treat her as.... oh it's stopping me to describe all this. and again one more crime of human trafficking is added because of unbalanced ratio.
Please make this world a place for both - a man and a woman along with all the beauties, creatures and love given by that great god!
Once upon a time, beyond ages India was super power and at that time, woman were worshiped as goddesses. A sanskrit shlok is coming to my mind at this point of time.. Our sages used to say "yatra naryashtu pujyante ramante tatra devataha". It's place of god where ladies are worshipped. I want my country to be super power and I don't want my species ( female) listed in endangered species.
